Breakfast, served in our Dining Room, as well as Wi-Fi and convenient parking, are included in your stay. Check-in is from 4:00–6:00 PM, with late check-in after 9:00 PM available by arrangement. We’re happy to accept reservations online and, if you have a special request or question, please call us at 802-855-8372. The Arabella Rose Room is warm and inviting. From the charming wallpaper to the comfortable antique bedstead, the Rose Room is perfect for anyone who prefers a first floor accommodation. The room features queen sized bed, 'twin-sized rollaway bed, cable TV, antique desk, dresser and a cozy recliner. This room has high ceilings and a chandelier. Your private bathroom with shower (wetroom style) is directly across the hall.

Fletcher Suite

The spacious corner Fletcher Suite features large windows, a king-size bed, rocking chair, electric fireplace, wall-mounted TV, and air conditioning. Relax under a cozy quilt or enjoy the vintage attached bathroom with clawfoot tub and shower. For added privacy, the suite can be combined with the Dutton room (see Dutton Fletcher). An air mattress is also available for a third guest with 48 hours’ notice.

The Redfield Suite is bright and airy; the bedroom has antique furniture, queen bed and romantic wallpaper. This room has air-conditioning and TV in built-in armoire with cable service. ☺Superb accommodations. The mansion is great, located very centrally and Sallie, the owner/manager, is fantastic.  It was a very comfortable stay on par with the best stays I've had in Vermont and elsewhere.  Very welcoming and a truly terrific B&B experience in a historic house

☺My partner and I stayed here for a few nights while we skied at Killington and loved it. Sallie, the owner, is incredibly sweet, super communicative, and really made it feel like a personalized stay. She consistently checked in to make sure that we had what we needed, and really made the experience feel special. She also made sure we had some grab and go items and coffee in the morning before we wanted to head out, and always greeted us with warm and lovely conversation. The mansion itself is beautiful and very well preserved – it feels like walking into a piece of history.

☺Flexibility with the breakfast timing and great attention to my food allergies.  I found a harpsichord in the sitting room, and was able to tune and play on it during my stay.  Host was full of historical information.

Sallie, the owner was extremely responsive answering all our questions prior to booking and went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. The B&B is historic and well kept and the room was spacious, clean and with a comfortable bed, perfect after long days out in the snow. This 1867 Mansion was more than I could expect. Sallie the owner was like family the moment I met her. She furnished this gorgeous building with such detail to the era in which the grand structure was built. I thoroughly enjoyed my spacious room with a nice TV and comfortable large bed. Breakfast at the expansive dining table was breathtaking. I checked this off my bucket list. I suggest you add it to yours. Very local to all you need in southern VT along route 7

One of the best experiences my wife and I had the opportunity to be a part of. It was my wife's birthday and I surprised her with a trip to Vermont and staying at this location. I will begin with our host and owner, Ms. Sallie. The moment we arrived, we felt instantly like being part of a family. Her kindness and sweetness made us feel like we've known her for years. We stayed in one the most exquisite rooms. Everything was what we imagined. This BB was located just minutes from downtown Rutland and minutes away from the local ski resorts. We are not skiers, however, to travel to and see the scenery of some of the resorts was exhilarating. Sallie served us with great hosting and breakfast each morning, and more importantly, great conversation. When you are staying here, ask her about the history of this beautiful BB. We also had the opportunity to share breakfast with other guests and we made some instant friends. I highly recommend to stay at this location if you are in need of a place to stay while visiting this area. Thank you Sallie for a tremendous experience and we will be back. My husband, son, and I stayed at the Antique Mansion for a full week. I was returning to Rutland for my 50th year class reunion and I had always marveled at the Mansion as a kid growing up in Rutland and into adulthood every time I drove past it. We arrived a day before our scheduled stay, and lare ar night as we were driving up from Florida. Upon calling before we made it to Rutland, Sallie was very accommodating and made rhe room available for us before our scheduled check-in the next day. Sallie was the perfect host. She prepared us fabulous breakfasts every day, as well as Eric, who covered for her while she was briefly out of town - pancakes, French toast, eggs, the works! There was always tea and coffee available for us when we returned to the Mansion every evening. The accommodations were perfect for us, being centrally located and the country club is across the street which made it convenient for meals and the functions we were attending. The Mansion is lovely, spacious, comfortable (so are the beds) and the history is very fascinating. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful and quiet. We will stay here again as we visit family in the area. I highly recommend staying at the Antique Mansion if you are planning a stay in Rutland. Barbara P.

This is a beautiful home set in a peaceful area, but still very close to downtown Rutland and a 15 minute drive to Killington ski area. Sallie was extremely accommodating and friendly, and she made us a wonderful breakfast each morning. We spent 3 nights here and enjoyed it very much. Sallie, the owner, is helpful and caring and has useful info about the area. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Rutland is a good base for exploring south/central Vermont, and there's a Walmart in case you left anything behind. This is an extraordinarily beautiful house set on wonderful grounds. The rooms are perfectly appointed and huge! The house is only 1.5 miles from downtown Rutland, so you could easily walk if you want to. Sandie is a perfect host, offering great advice and conversation, and a superb breakfast. We had a perfect stay at this lovely historic mansion. We even stayed an extra night (4 in all). Sallie was a warm and welcoming Hostess and made sure all our needs were met. She was careful to let us know about the rooms choices and bathrooms before we reserved. We loved hearing about the history of the house . My mother and I recently stayed at the Antique Mansion B&B and had such a lovely stay. The mansion is beautiful and stately, and located in a charming neighborhood that is mere minutes outside of downtown Rutland. Owner Sallie was such a gracious and accommodating host and bent over backwards to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Her breakfasts were delicious! Charming home, just like the name says, an antique mansion! Sallie is a lovely hostess, very accommodating and helpful. The property is lovely. The location to downtown Rutland cannot be better, less than 2 miles from Main St and all of the dining and entertainment options. I stayed in the room downstairs which has the bathroom across the hall which I wasn't crazy about but it turned out to be just fine. Its in the downstairs hallway but she has it sectioned off. We were in VT for a wedding and had an extra day to play when we saw this great little B&B on the web. We had admired the many beautiful Victorian homes in the area and were thrilled at the chance to stay at one. Trust me, this is THE ONE to stay at! The Innkeeper, Miss Sallie Gill could not have been any sweeter and the room and breakfast were perfect!! The Antique Mansion was everything we hoped it would be. The mansion gives a very unique, old feel with little antique gems all around the home. The yard is beautiful and Sally really makes you feel at home. Sally was one of the most attentive hosts I've ever encountered. She made sure we were all comfortable and even tailored our breakfasts to our liking! She made our wedding weekend so memorable and effortless.
